Meditation and Reiki Wellness Services

1. Introduction
This policy outlines the terms and conditions under which Inner You Holistic operated by Andrea Cunningham, provides meditation, Reiki, and related wellness services. By booking or participating in any session, class, workshop, event, or consultation, the client acknowledges and agrees to the terms below.
2. Nature of Services
2.1. Services offered may include:
* Meditation guidance (group or 1:1)
* Reiki treatments (in-person or distance)
* Relaxation techniques and holistic wellbeing sessions
* Workshops, courses, or events focused on personal wellbeing
2.2. Non-medical and complementary: All services are complementary wellbeing practices and not a substitute for medical, psychological, or psychiatric care. No diagnosis, treatment of illness, medical advice, or guaranteed outcomes are provided.
3. Professional Status
3.1. The business is operated by Andrea Cunningham, registered and accredited Meditation Teacher (BS0M) and Reiki Master practitioner in the United Kingdom.
3.2. Any staff, associates, or guest practitioners operate either under contractual agreement or independently and are responsible for their own professional conduct and insurance.
4. Client Responsibilities
Clients agree to:
* Provide accurate and complete personal information relevant to their wellbeing.
* Seek professional medical advice for health concerns unrelated to offered services.
* Disclose any physical or mental health conditions that could affect participation.
* Refrain from attending in-person sessions when unwell, contagious, or under the influence of alcohol or recreational drugs.
5. Contraindications & Limitations
5.1. Reiki and meditation are generally considered safe, but may not be suitable for individuals experiencing certain conditions. Clients should consult a healthcare provider if unsure.

 5.2. The practitioner reserves the right to decline or discontinue a session if the client’s health or behaviour presents a risk.
6. Payment, Bookings & Cancellations
6.1. Payment is required as specified at the time of booking (in advance or on the day). 

6.2. Cancellations/Rescheduling:
* Clients must give 24 hours notice to cancel or reschedule.
* Late cancellations or no-shows may be charged in full.
* Workshops, courses and retreats are non-refundable. Refunds will not apply to missed sessions, unless cancelled by Andrea at Inner You Holistic.
6.3. Refunds are offered only at the practitioner’s discretion unless otherwise required by applicable consumer law.
7. Confidentiality & Privacy
7.1. All personal information shared by clients is kept confidential except where disclosure is required by law (such as safeguarding concerns or imminent risk of harm). 

7.2. Personal data is collected, stored, and processed in accordance with relevant privacy laws — GDPR if in the UK. A separate Privacy Notice may apply.
8. Liability Disclaimer
8.1. Clients participate voluntarily and accept full responsibility for their own wellbeing during and after sessions.

 8.2. The practitioner is not liable for:
* Any decisions a client makes based on sessions
* Any outcomes that depend on individual experience
* Medical or psychological issues arising outside the practitioner’s control
8.3. Nothing in this policy limits legal rights that cannot be excluded by law.
9. Insurance
The practitioner maintains appropriate professional liability and public liability insurance for meditation and Reiki services through Balens. Proof of insurance is available upon request.
10. Code of Conduct
The practitioner has signed up to the appropriate Codes of Conduct and is committed to:
* Maintaining safe, respectful, and professional boundaries
* Providing services with integrity and competence
* Ensuring a non-judgemental and inclusive environment
* Clients are expected to behave respectfully and follow session guidelines.
11. Minors
Clients under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian who provides consent and remains present, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
12. Online Services
12.1 For remote sessions (e.g., distance Reiki, online meditation):
* Clients are responsible for ensuring a safe, quiet environment.
* Technical issues are not the responsibility of the practitioner.
* Recording of sessions is prohibited unless mutually agreed.
* Only the registered client can join the online session and should not share the session with groups or anyone else that has not registered and paid for the class.

12.2 Meditation recordings

*All meditation recordings by Andrea Cunningham | Inner You Holistic are copyrighted. Any use without permission is prohibited.
13. Terms Amendments
These terms and conditions may be updated at any time. The most current version will be available on the website or provided directly to clients upon request.
14. Governing Law
This agreement is governed by the laws of the United Kingdom and any disputes shall be handled in the appropriate courts of that jurisdiction.

15. AI

15.1 Andrea Cunningham | Inner You Holistic do NOT consent to AI training, dataset inclusion, machine learning analysis, or synthetic voice cloning of our work. Any use without written permission is prohibited.
